He was totally tied up with commitments, family, children, loans and all the things around, that he even felt at times that he couldn't even breathe properly and all these made him feel like this pressure was about to pull him under the sand. He was walking home, through the noises and disturbances but he didn’t notice any, as he was full of scrambled thoughts. As soon as he reached home, the same old routine again, talked some stuff with the children, wasted some time, ate food and went to sleep.
The sun was so bright the next morning that he woke rubbing his eyes, hoping for the same day as yesterday, the phone was ringing but he was careless to attend. He asked his wife to answer that call. It was a lady, asking for him, she called him, gave the phone and went to the other extension, picked it up and waited to hear what was going on. It was her first spying on him; she had some doubts on him from the last few months as he was becoming more and more careless day by day. She wanted to know whats happening with him. She couldn’t understand who she was, But she got a clear picture of what the relation between that lady and her husband was, she didn't spare time even to ask a question, left to her home with children, swearing she would never be back. He sat broken thinking of what has happened and could be done, but also he felt a bit happy that at last he is going to have some time for himself after a very long long time. He took the day leave & relaxed.
The next day he woke up early got ready, happier than ever, went in front of the mirror. At that time something strikes him, who called yesterday? He was not having any affair till then, what was she talking about? He couldn't memorize anything from the last day’s call. He was excited of what happened to him but he could only recognize some feeble voices of a young lady whom he never knew before. What has happened to me?, he was thinking, he was in perfect silence with the peace of mind he never had. The sun was shining bright through the window, he wanted to go and have a look outside on the peaceful world he is on right now but he didn’t, he sat exactly on the chair where he had the call.. waiting for the next.
