Errors wheel

It was dusk when I entered the forest.
I caressed the welcoming feeling deep down in my feet.
I could sense the wet cold muddy gravel,
Which was sending little shivers through up my nerves.
I strolled like I never had to come back,
More than what was strange was I felt it was home.

A wind blew which started a drizzle,
I was nearly blind and it was dark.
I could feel a presence watching me,
Which shot a fear deep through my brain.
I walked, I ran but I couldn’t get far.
And the fear was growing like a wild fire.

The faster I ran, the deeper the forest grew
I couldn’t find the light which I was running to
But I found a river painted red.
I jumped right in and was pulled to the bottom.
I couldn’t hear the rain or the steps that followed

At the bottom of the pool, I saw a glass wall
Where I could see me walking to the forest.
I shouted at him not to do it, I went up
Brought a stone, broke the glass and ran behind myself
It was raining and the wind was high,
I saw from the far, him jumping into the river.

I could feel a presence watching me,
Which shot a fear deep through my brain.
I walked, I ran but I couldn’t get far.
And the fear was growing like a wild fire.
